Local History Museum Nieuwkerken

This local history museum about history, crafts and home industry in Nieuwkerken-Waas and the Waasland was born out of a private collection. The memory of village life of the time is preserved in objects, photographs and documents, The museum also houses an extensive archive with slides and photos about families and organisations in Nieuwkerken.

Open from March to November on Tuesdays from 2 to 4 pm, every first Sunday of the month from 2 to 5 pm and on Easter Monday, during the local Artisan Weekend and on Open Monument Day.
